This is Paradise Guitar’s Custom Shop exotic "SP1010" model. This baby has all the right curves and feels great to hold and play. This superb Custom Shop “Boutique” guitar has soft flowing sculpted features and a hand selected genuine White Korina body. Korina is a rare exotic wood, especially known for its sweet midrange and “responsive” handling. The Spalted Maple top and the White Korina body is an excellent combination for this guitar. The Floyd Rose® Tremolo Pro bridge is a low profile tremolo bridge which offers heavier mass for great sustain. The neck is made from Birdseye Maple with a Birdseye Maple fingerboard. The neck has a 14 degree tilt back headstock and its 25.5” scale, 24/6100 Jumbo fret neck, offers easy playing for leads and chording.

Special Note: This model features a full ”Bookmatched Spalted Maple top. This is not just a thin veneer. It should also be noted that Spalted Maple is such a beautiful and unique exotic tone wood, that no two pieces are alike. The guitar that you buy can never be exactly duplicated.

This superb guitar has soft flowing sculpted features and a hand selected genuine Alder body and our patent pending “Inlaid Zebra Body-Top” design. Alder is a lightweight wood which makes it comfortable for extended playing. The neck is made from extra rich Birdseye Maple, whose highly reflective tone complements the body of the guitar. The neck has a 14 degree tilt back headstock. Its 25.5” scale, 24/6100 Jumbo fret neck, offers easy playing for leads and chording.

Saul Hudson (born 23 July 1965), better known by his stage name Slash, is a British-American musician.Best-known as the former lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, with whom he performed and recorded between 1985 and 1996, he later formed the eponymous Slash’s Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver with his former bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. His debut solo album, Slash, was released in April 2010.

Slash has received critical recognition as a guitarist. In August 2009, Time Magazine ranked him #2 on its list of the “10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time”. He was also ranked #21 on Gigwise’s list of the “50 Greatest Guitarists Ever”.

SLASH on Tour

Slash announced via a MySpace blog that “Myles Kennedy is going to be fronting the band for the upcoming tour. Something I’m really stoked about. Myles sang a killer track on the record & I think he is by far one of the best Rock & Roll singers out there today. I’m really honored & proud to be working with him.” Concert dates and ticket information have not yet currently been released but the guitarist confirmed, via Twitter that he was in talks with England‘s Download Festival promoter Andy Copping regarding an appearance with Kennedy and the rest of the touring band at the festival.Slash confirmed that he will play his own solo material and songs from Guns N’ Roses (“Civil War“, “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” and “Nightrain” among others), Velvet Revolver, and Slash’s Snakepit, as well as Alter Bridge material (“Rise Today“).
