Seeing as how Myspace continually introduces new versions of their site for the various countries I thought it would be interesting to see what other countries people would like to see added. Let's try it in the form of Myspace comments just to make it more interesting.

Add voice to your Myspace pictures - Snapvine!

Snapvine, the site that introduced voice commenting for your Myspace profile, has several new widgets in the works. The latest, Talking Photo, allows you to add voice (by microphone or via telephone by calling a local access number) to any picture or photo. That image can then be embedded into your own profile or as a comment on your friends profile.

Keep an eye out for this and more coming out of Snapvine in the coming weeks.

Delete fields from a Myspace Music Band profile - Hide!

Have you ever wanted to hide, remove, or delete a part of your Myspace Music profile? Most of us know that there are a multitude of sites out there that provide hide codes for the standard Myspace profile. I haven't come across many that provide hide codes for a Myspace Music band profile.

Here's how to hide texts or tables that you no longer want on your Myspace Band profile page:

1. Log into your Myspace music profile page
2. Click on HOME
3. Click on SAFE MODE (located to the right of EDIT PROFILE)
4. You should be on the EDIT BAND INTERESTS page. Now Simply click on the DELETE link and that table will be removed from your Myspace Music bands page.

It's that simple :)

This method allow you:

- hide the Headline
- hide the Bio section
- hide the Members section
- hide the Influences section
- hide the Sounds like section
- hide the Website
- hide the Record label
- hide the Label type

News widget for Myspace - USA Today

USA Today has released a news widget that provides you with "a free, quick, and easy way to have USATODAY.com content available on the Web sites you visit most often". That said, the news widget works flawlessly on any Myspace profile. Currently there are three news widgets to choose from and they are, for the most part, all travel related.

Download Youtube video - Ygrab

Ygrab, creators of the aforementioned Myspace Music download site, have another site that allows you to download Youtube videos, for free. Again, the Youtube site works much like the Myspace music site does. You simply copy the URL of the Youtube video you'd like to download, then click the download button. You'll be prompted to save the Youtube video to your desktop. That file can then be played using the VLC media player.

Download Myspace Music - MyspaceGrab

MyspaceGrab has launched a new site that allows you to download the Mp3 music from any Myspace Music band profile in Mp3 format.

You simply enter your favorite bands Myspace URL (http://www.myspace.com/U2 for example), then click the "MYSPACE GRAB" button. A results page lists all Mp3's on that particular Myspace Music profile. You can then listen to them individually and apparently, save them to your desktop using your browsers FILE>>SAVE AS (IE) or FILE>>SAVE PAGE AS (Firefox) option.

FotoFlexer, founded by Berkeley based Arbor Labs, is one of the latest (and nicest) online photo editors to make headway into an already crowded market.

Fast and easy to use, FotoFlexer allows real-time, full screen editing of your MySpace pics, without the need of any standalone, expensive software (Photoshop, etc...). FotoFlexer features some surprisingly sophisticated tools that allow you to do pretty much anything you'll want to do to a pic.

FotoFlexer is also set up to work with various social networks (MySpace and Friendster for example), but they do require a quick registration to get to it.

MySpace launches Youtube clone

MySpace has just launched their own version of a Youtube-like site. Have a look at MySpaceTV .

Slide show for your MySpace layout - Flipframe

Flipframes has a new flash slide show widget for your MySpace profile or layout. All pretty straightforward stuff: you choose your frame, upload some images, and cut and paste the code to your MySpace profile.

Although it isn't clearly mentioned on the home page, Flipframes also seems to be working on a prize for flips program. It works like this; every time someone views or "flips" through your slide show, you earn "Check$". Those Check$ can later be redeemed for prizes. Details are a little sketchy right now, but keep an eye out for updates as they prepare to roll it out.

How to view/see hidden MySpace profiles

Using Firefox you'll be able to see:

- hidden friends and hidden comments
- hidden contact tables and ADD COMMENT links
- any hidden Myspace music players
- the users LAST LOGIN, personal URL, and all of the general information (age, city, name, etc...)
- what your boyfriend/girlfriend is REALLY up to ;)

Transfer images from your phone to a MySpace slide show - Heysan!

Heysan has a new MySpace add-on that allows users to easily transfer mobile phone images right to their MySpace profile. The MySpace add-on comes in the form of a Heysan slide show; very similar in form and function to that offered by MySpace. After copying and pasting some embed code to your profile, images can be transferred via your mobile phone using your own Heysan email address; great news for those of you that get charged for MMS messaging and all very easy to setup.

MySpace Tag Cloud - Traitcloud

Traitcloud has a cool MySpace add-on that lets you, and your friends, add personality "traits" to an embeddable MySpace widget. The tags themselves are "clickable". Each click results in a vote count; shown in parenthesis just after each tag. More clicks = more votes = a larger sized tag or "trait". Have a look!
